What this page can do
Word files are read as .docx. The text is placed into an A4 PDF with wrapping. Headings stay as larger text when Mammoth can see them. Images, text boxes, headers and footnotes are often missing. Excel files are read with SheetJS. The first worksheet is drawn as a table. Cell colours and charts are not copied.
What this page cannot do
It cannot turn a PDF back into Word or Excel with the original layout. That needs a paid server converter. Do not use this for a signed contract, a crew list that must stay pixel-perfect, or a class form. Keep the original Office file.
Privacy
Conversion runs in your browser. Files are not uploaded to SeaToolbox. The helper libraries load from a public CDN, so internet is required the first time.
